AGNES M. TOPP MUNGOVAN "SIS"

84, of Ft. Wayne, passed away Saturday September 16, 2017 at Canterbury Nursing Home in Ft. Wayne. She was born in Ft. Wayne on October 27, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Agnes Mungovan.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years George R. Topp; daughter Ann M. Dennis; son Thomas (Polly) Topp; grandchildren Toni Dennis, Mary Dennis, Abigail (Travis) Zimmerman, and Andrew Topp; great grandchildren Alayla Dennis, Elleen Zimmerman, Amelia Dennis, Easton Heltzel and Elijah Zimmerman. She is also survived by her brothers Richard, Jerry, and Joe Mungovan. She was preceded in death her son Gary Allen Topp, and brother Thomas Mungovan Jr..

Sis was a self employed beautician and worked at the Tom Mungovan Funeral Home until her retirement. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of 1951. During her life she enjoyed camping at Manapogo Park Campground, and winters in Ft. Myers FL. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, hanging out at Mannies Place on the corner of Calhoun and Creighton streets where she ate and interacted with many of her lifelong friends and family.

Agnes was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma to her family. Sis had her first communion, and was baptized in St. Patricks Catholic Ch.. She was a faithful member of St. Peters Catholic Ch. where her and George were married, and will now celebrate the completion of her life.

A funeral mass will be held Friday Sept. 22, 2017, 11 am at St. Peters Catholic Ch 518 E. Dewald. The family will receive friends on Thursday Sept 21, 2017 from 11am - 2pm and 5pm to 8pm. There will be a rosary recitation done at 7pm on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the masses
