DAVID L. DOAN SR.

78, of Ft. Wayne, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday July 25, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.

David was born in Spencerville, OH. He was a veteran of the Untied States Air Force, serving his country in the Berlin Crisis. He was a member of AMVETS post 33 and Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Shannon Doan, 4 children, Jeffrey (Marie) Doan, David (Julie) Doan Jr. Melissa (James Brown) and Angela Aaron. He has 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday July 29, 2017, 2pm at the funeral home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service
