TERRY L. McKEEVER

Terry L. McKeever, 67 of San Diego, CA, passed away on Monday, April 8th, 2019. He passed peacefully in Indiana with his family near. Born January 3, 1952 to Roger & Gloria (VanDissen) McKeever. He is survived by son, Andrew (Jen) McKeever and daughter Abbey (Aaron) Winteregg and 4 grandchildren: Corey, Quinn, Maggie & Brinley, who he was immensely proud of.

In his own words, Terry was an Entrepreneurial Nonconformist. No need to look it up; it means that Terry did what he wanted to do and he didn't conform to others. He stayed true to that mantra to the very end. Terry was first and foremost an artist and over the years and he incorporated his art into being a skilled contractor, landscaper, designer and domainer. If you asked him, he would tell you that he was a renaissance man. He had a zest for life and loved to play music.

He would often quote Psalms 46:10 “Be still and know that I am god”, yet he was always on the go. Terry never knew a stranger and could start a conversation with anyone. Terry believed that the key to success was networking and would often stay in touch with people he met along the way. Terry would always see the beauty in things and had the ability to see the potential in things. This served him well as a contractor. Terry was an avid collector of all things 'Terry' (reference that only those close to Terry will understand). Terry's only nemesis was an opposing opinion and wouldn't shy away from a healthy debate.

 A Memorial Luncheon is scheduled for Saturday April 20, 2019 from 12pm to 3pm at the Starlight Reception Hall 3690 US33 Decatur IN 46733.
