James (Jim) W. Noll
84, passed away Saturday, March 20, at Saint Anne Communities in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Jim was born Dec. 4, 1936, to Harold and Charlotte (Teders) Noll. He was married to Sally (Becker) for 54 years. She preceded him in death. Jim attended Most Precious Blood School, Fort Wayne, Central Catholic High School, Fort Wayne, and Indiana-Purdue Universities at Fort Wayne. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Jim was employed by Ohio Plate, City Glass and Connolly’s Do-It Best. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Fort Wayne, at Brooklyn and Hale. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by two daughters, Rose (Tim) Johnson of Roanoke, Sara (Wayne) Unsell of Oklahoma City, and five sons Jonathan (Paula), Bernard (Roxanna), Jim (Sarah) and Bryan (Ann Marie), all of Fort Wayne, and Michael (Melissa) of Bloomington, Indiana. He is survived 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Jim is survived by a sister, Judith Letso, and brother Joseph Noll. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel and David Noll.
Arrangements are by Tom Mungovan Funeral Home, 2221 S. Calhoun, Fort Wayne. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, and at St. Aloysius Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder, Indiana, from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, March 25. Funeral Mass follows at 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Msgr. Bruce Piechocki presiding. Preferred memorials are for Masses or St. Joseph Catholic School, Fort Wayne.
