Virgil Lee Kemper

90, of Ft. Wayne, IN, died on Thursday, January 2, 2020 @9:33am at Parkview North Hospital.

He was born in St. Henry, OH and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He married Elizabeth Mae Burnham who preceded him in death. He was employed by GTE for 37 years during which time they had six children; Cynthia L Mays of Zolfo Springs, FL, Gary E. Kemper of Leo, IN; Karolyn K. Blum and Virgil E. Kemper of Ft. Wayne, IN; Mark B. Kemper of Sebring, FL; Lee W. Kemper of Maumee, OH; one brother, Daniel Kemper of Coldwater, OH; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters Luella Hoelscher, Alice Jane Gengler, Leola Grevencamp and brother, Melvin Kemper.

A celebration of life will be held from 3pm to 6 pm Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Don Hall's Guesthouse, 1313 W. Washington Center Rd. Ft Wayne, IN.  Preferred memorials are to St. Jude Hospital @stjude.org, in lieu of flowers.
