History

In 1943 Agnes and Thomas Mungovan founded our funeral home, and it has been Mungovan family owned since the beginning. The entire family (Tom Jr., Joe, Agnes Richard and Jerry) assisted their parents in the operation of the funeral home as it grew.

Around 1970 Tom Jr., and Richard purchased the funeral home from their parents and siblings and continued the legacy they all had strived to create.

For decades the Mungovan family has served the Ft. Wayne community, providing honest, affordable funeral and cremation services. To this day we are steadfast in maintaining the same care, compassion, and commitment our founders did decades ago. Providing affordable, quality funeral and cremation services our families have entrusted us to provide.

As Tom Mungovan once said : "My steadfast purpose is to provide a means of paying the finest tribute to the memory of those who have gone on - without hardship to those who remain and live"
